Improving our English Pronounciation: Do you like singing?

Hello,

May 25th

How are you? Enjoying this looonnnnnggg weekend?
I am sure you are!  so am I ;-)

I like music and singing - who does not? I listen to music as often as I can: when I go walking, do some housework or work. I sometimes find it difficult to concentrate on work when I listen to music because if I like the song, I stop working and start singing!!!

Surfing the net, I came across this website  http://www.karaokeparty.com/
and loved it. Isn´t it cool for practising your English pronounciation ?

You only need a microphone, a good voice (ideally), choose the song you want to sing, wait till it is buffered and the lyrics appear to be sung at the pace of the music.

You get a mark after singing. I am afraid my mark on
intonation - not pronounciation- is not very good

Activity:  Visit Karaoke party website, choose a song, sing it and take a shot of the screen showing your result (like the one above), then open PAINT and paste the image.  Save it as  *.JPG file and send it to me (escuelaunlp@yahoo.com.ar) + some lines saying why you chose that song + your opinion of this tool to improve your pronounciation. Remeber to include: Name + course
DEALINE: June 15th

  1. I haven´t got a microphone so the programme can´t give me a result.
On the other hand, the song I had sang if I would have had a microphone could be anyone of Oasis, one of my favourite bands.
I can´t say anything about the tool beacause I couldn´t use it, but I think that is cool a free Karaoke on the internet: a funny way to practice English.
