    Writing an informal mail: Writing an informal mail allows breaking formal writing rules but there are universal mail rules that you must follow. These are called netiquette. 

    Netiquette (Online etiquette) is a neologism formed from "network + etiquette". It involves the conventions of politeness and respect recognized  in mailing lists, in live chat systems and on other electronic forums. These conventions address the relationship between netizens, and outline a dynamic set of guidelines for conduct that is conducive to pleasant, efficient and agreeable interaction.
