British/American English posters

Hi, Nelba, here we send you the activity 5 of the blog. We loved work with this exercise today.

It was funny jaja and interesting, because we didn't know anything about the difference between british english and american english. Well, yes the difference in the pronunciation of course, and between holiday which is British and vacation which is American.

Now we know that we have to choose one of them because we can't mix them. We know that it's difficult because the films and the songs, most of them, are in american english and if we choose british it's complicated.

Have a nice weekend!

What are the differences between British English and American English? There are many British words which are different from American ones. You have studied that "elevator" is a "lift" in British English. Lisa and Sofia Efthymiou, an American mum and daughter, have listed the differences between British and American words in this website. They  have arranged the words in categories to make viewing easier for school work.
